Katie (or Breen, as she’s affectionately known by most of her close friends) is a Seattle-based photographer with a primary focus on rugby. Coverage includes International test matches, MLR Seattle Seawolves, Seattle Rugby Club, Washington Athletic Club 7s, and international/national touch rugby. A rugger for nearly fourteen years as well as a college-level coach for seven, Katie is able to marry an advanced understanding of the game of rugby union with the practical/technical experience of a lifetime behind a camera. Katie also periodically covers Soccer (Seattle Reign and Sounders) and other fast-paced professional events.

When not on the pitch or hunched in front of a laptop editing photos, she can be found hiking to beaches and mountain ridges in the dead of night, searching for that perfect landscape astro shot.
